Second chance for those who lost the arrangements of 72 and 120 installments
A deadline of 31 July 2023 to apply for reinstatement in the 72 and 120 installment arrangements and could not be successfully completed.
More specifically, both EFKA and the tax office, from today and for the next few days, are expected to gradually put into operation the possibility of submitting an application for reinstatement in arrangements of 72 and 120 installments which were lost until February 1, 2023. The possibility of inclusion will not refers to debtors who had not been subject to the above regulations in the past.
In order to revive the arrangements, a request must be submitted to the competent Service and an amount corresponding to 2 monthly installments of the lost arrangement must be paid. For arrangements to the EFKA, the installments must be paid by the last working day of the month of submission of the application, while for arrangements to the tax office within 3 days of submission. The other due installments are transferred with interest at the end of the settlement.
An additional condition is the repayment or subjection to permanent settlement of debts that are not included in the above favorable framework. up to 24 doses.
It is also given, subject to conditions, the possibility of a new arrangement of 72 installments for debts relating to debts for the period September 2021 - December 2022.
Loss of arrangements occurs if the debtor:
- Does not pay two (2) consecutive monthly installments of the arrangement or delays the payment of the last two (2) installments of the arrangement for a period longer than two (2) months
- after the passage of one (1) month from being subject to it, he has not paid or has not been subject to permanent settlement of all his other overdue debts.
