Action Π3-73-2.3 of the ΚΑΠ Strategic Plan 2023-2027 supports investments in the processing, marketing, and development of agricultural products, provided that the final product remains agricultural. The objective is to enhance competitiveness and the farmer's position in the market, increase added value, and promote PDO/PGI and nationally certified products. The action also focuses on sustainability, innovation, extroversion, gender equality, and job creation.

Funding

The public support for this action amounts to €134,639,733.00 and is co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Public Investment Development Program.

Subsidy Rates

The aid intensity ranges from 40% to 75% of the total requested budget, with an additional 10% for investment costs aimed at energy or water savings, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and waste reduction.

Eligible beneficiaries of the Intervention are:

Legal entities: General Partnerships (O.E.), Limited Partnerships (E.E.), Limited Liability Companies (E.P.E.), S.A., Private Companies (I.K.E.),
Sole proprietorships,
Agricultural cooperatives, agricultural corporate partnerships, joint-stock companies with the majority of shares held by agricultural cooperatives,
Producer groups, producer organizations, mergers of producer organizations, unions of producer organizations.

The requested budget per application ranges from €400,001.00 to €5,000,000.00.

Modernization, relocation of existing production and storage units
Mergers of production and storage units,
By-product management units
