Business Subsidy Program for the Employment of 1,000 Unemployed Aged 30-66 Years in the Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace

PURPOSE

The creation of 1,000 new full-time job positions for the employment of unemployed individuals aged 30-66 years in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.

BENEFICIARIES-BUSINESSES

Private businesses operating in the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.

BENEFICIARIES-INDIVIDUALS

Unemployed individuals, registered in the unemployment registry of DYPA, aged 30-66 years.

STATE AID REGIME

If a business chooses the de minimis state aid regime, it must not have reduced its staff in the last month before the application and must not have received state funding exceeding €200,000 in the previous 3 years (current and 2 previous). If a business opts for the General Block Exemption Regulation (GBER) state aid regime, it must not have reduced its staff in the 12 months before the application and must not have received state funding exceeding €5,000,000 since 2014.

Subsidy Program for Businesses to Employ: A. 3,000 unemployed belonging to special and vulnerable social groups and B. 7,000 unemployed facing barriers to integration or reintegration into the labor market

A: For 3,000 unemployed individuals belonging to special and vulnerable social groups

PURPOSE

The creation of 3,000 new full-time job positions for unemployed individuals belonging to special and vulnerable social groups.

BENEFICIARIES-INDIVIDUALS

Registered in the DYPA registry on the date of their nomination, belonging to the following categories:

  • People with Disabilities
  • Women victims of domestic or gender-based violence
  • Individuals who completed a rehabilitation program
  • Ex-prisoners
  • Young people at social risk
  • Transgender individuals
  • Victims of human trafficking, as well as Adults who continue to reside after their adulthood in Child Protection and Care Units and are registered in the National Registry for Minors of E.K.K.A.

BENEFICIARIES-BUSINESSES

  1. Private businesses and generally employers of the private sector who engage in regular economic activity
  2. Developmental Public Limited Companies (OTA) engaging in regular economic activity and OTA businesses of A' and B' degree, regarding the employment of people with disabilities.

B: For 7,000 unemployed individuals facing barriers to integration or reintegration into the labor market

PURPOSE

The creation of 7,000 new full-time job positions for unemployed individuals facing barriers to integration or reintegration into the labor market.

BENEFICIARIES-INDIVIDUALS

  • Mothers returning to the labor market after raising their children with at least one child up to 8 years old and at least 6 months of unemployment
  • Unemployed individuals over 55 years of age with 12 months of unemployment
  • Unemployed individuals with 24 months of unemployment
  • Unemployed individuals who have not completed compulsory education or who have completed it without subsequently advancing to a higher level of education
  • Unemployed members of single-parent families Unemployed Roma individuals (with 6 months of unemployment in case the business chooses the GBER state aid regime)

Depending on the category of unemployed beneficiaries and the economic support regime chosen by the business, there are variations in the amount of subsidy and the duration of the program.

Subsidy Program for Businesses to Employ 3,000 Unemployed Aged 56 Years and Above, Who Have Completed the Subsidy Program for Long-Term Unemployed Aged 55 to 67 Years

PURPOSE

The creation of 3,000 new full-time job positions for the employment of unemployed individuals aged 56 years and above, who have completed the "subsidy program for the employment of long-term unemployed aged 55-67 years".

BENEFICIARIES-INDIVIDUALS

The beneficiaries of the program must cumulatively: a) be unemployed, aged 56 years and above, registered in the DYPA registry, and b) have completed at least the first 12 months of the subsidy program for the employment of long-term unemployed aged 55-67 years.

DURATION AND AMOUNT OF SUBSIDY

The duration of the subsidy is set at 12 months and the amount is €715 per month.

The program is aimed at all private businesses and generally employers of the private sector who engage in regular economic activity.

Subsidy Program for Businesses for the Employment of 5,000 Unemployed, Aged 18-66 Years, with a Focus on the Green Economy Sector and Women

PURPOSE

The creation of 5,000 new, primarily "green" full-time job positions in businesses operating or intending to operate in the green economy sector, employing unemployed individuals registered in the DYPA unemployment registry, aged 18-66 years, with an emphasis on women.

BENEFICIARIES-BUSINESSES

Private businesses and generally employers of the private sector who engage in regular economic activity and operate or intend to operate in the green economy sector.

BENEFICIARIES-INDIVIDUALS

Unemployed individuals, registered in the DYPA registry, aged 18-66 years.

Subsidy Program for Businesses for the Employment of 10,000 Long-term Unemployed Aged 45 Years and Above, in High Unemployment Areas

PURPOSE

The creation of 10,000 new full-time job positions in high unemployment areas of the country, with priority in the Regions of Western Macedonia, Western Greece, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Thessaly, Central Greece, Central Macedonia, and Epirus.

BENEFICIARIES-INDIVIDUALS

Registered long-term unemployed aged 45 years and above.

BENEFICIARIES-BUSINESSES

Private businesses and generally employers of the private sector who engage in regular economic activity.
