Subsidy program for the recruitment of 10.000 unemployed women, with an emphasis on mothers of minor children

Purpose

The purpose of the program is to create 10.000 new jobs through the hiring of unemployed women, with an emphasis on mothers of minor children up to 15 years old. More specifically, the jobs are allocated to 5.000 full-time positions and 5.000 part-time positions, regardless of the beneficiary category.

Program Beneficiaries

a) unemployed women over 18 years old, registered in the D.YP.A. digital unemployment registry, and

b) unemployed women over 18 years old, mothers of minor children up to 15 years old, registered in the D.YP.A. digital unemployment registry.

Eligible Employers

Private companies and, in general, employers in the private sector that carry out regular economic activity. The program applies to all regions of the country.

Amount and Duration of the Subsidy

Eligible employers are subsidized for each full-time or part-time employee hired under the program for a period of 12 months, with the option to extend for an additional 3 months.

The subsidy per full-time job position amounts to:

  • 70% of the unit cost for hiring unemployed women registered in the D.YP.A. digital registry for a period shorter than 12 months, with a maximum subsidy of €10,550.40 (12 months x €879.20 monthly subsidy)
  • 80% of the unit cost for hiring (i) long-term unemployed women registered in the D.YP.A. digital registry for more than 12 months, or (ii) unemployed mothers of minor children up to 15 years old, registered in the D.YP.A. digital registry. The maximum subsidy is €12,057.60 (12 months x €1,004.80 monthly subsidy)

The subsidy amount per part-time job position for all beneficiary categories is defined as 80% of the monthly wage and non-wage labor cost, with a maximum of €680.00 per month. The subsidy is calculated for each month of part-time employment of at least four (4) hours per day and five (5) days per week (for salaried employees and daily-wage employees), up to a maximum of twenty-two (22) insurance days.

The maximum_writer subsidy amount that an eligible employer may receive per beneficiary is up to €8,160.00 (12 months x €680.00 maximum monthly subsidy).
