New entrepreneurship program for 1,900 beneficiaries aged 30 to 55 with an emphasis on digital economy

Goal

The main objective of this new program is to promote the employment of the unemployed by supporting them to create 1,900 new businesses.

The transition to the digital transformation of Greek businesses is today the first priority at the national level, both for improving the country's competitiveness and the progress of the Greek economy, as well as for adapting to the new international conditions.

According to the announcement, the action concerns 1,900 new businesses created by former unemployed people aged 30-55 from 1/1/2022 until the date of its publication in the Government Gazette 16-10-2023. Emphasis will be given on businesses active in the digital economy.

Financial aid

The amount of support for new businesses/beneficiaries of the Action amounts to €14,800 and is paid in three installments, as follows:

  1. 1st installment of 4,000 euros, after the issuance of the Proposal's Funding Approval Decision (Milestone A).
  2. 2nd installment of 5,400 euros, after the end of the first semester from the start of the business or the date of establishment of all the terms and conditions of eligibility for inclusion in the program (Milestone B).
  3. 3rd installment of 5,400 euros, after the end of the second semester from the start of the business (Milestone C)
