Accounting & Tax Consultant
We are strengthening our accounting department. The role takes on the accounting and tax supervision of client companies, with its own portfolio and direct communication with the clients' management.
What you will do
- Supervision of double-entry (Category C) books.
- Organisation of the procedures of clients' in-house accounting departments.
- Preparation and issuing of client payroll.
- Tax monitoring and tax advisory for clients.
- Handling of labour and social security legislation matters.
- Collaboration with the company's consulting and data analysis teams.
What we are looking for
- At least 3 years of experience in maintaining double-entry (Category C) books and in preparing and submitting payroll.
- A degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with accounting and payroll software.
- Driving licence.
- Consistency, diligence, responsibility, teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills, as the role involves direct contact with clients.
What counts in your favour
- Good knowledge of English.
- Knowledge of the digital work card and the related submissions (Ergani, myErgani).
- Experience in an accounting firm with a client portfolio.
- Use of artificial intelligence tools in a professional environment: data processing, drafting of deliverables, automation of repetitive tasks.
What this position is not
This is not an assistant accountant position. This is not a freelance engagement. It is full-time employment with physical presence at our offices in Heraklion.
