Gaining professional/work experience for unemployed people aged 30+

Purpose
The action aims to strengthen employment and the reintegration of unemployed persons aged 30 and over into the labor market by providing six months of paid on-the-job professional experience in real working conditions. Through full subsidization of employment, special emphasis is placed on vulnerable groups, such as the long-term unemployed, so that they acquire meaningful skills, upgrade their professional prospects and increase the chances of permanent employment.
Business Participation Procedure
- The business submits an application to participate in the action
- DYPA confirms that the participation conditions are met
- DYPA employment counselors propose suitable candidates
- The business selects the beneficiary with whom it will cooperate
Priority for Beneficiary Participation
The action gives priority to groups most affected by unemployment and social exclusion:
- Long-term unemployed (registered unemployed for 24+ months)
- Unemployed women
- Unemployed persons affected by or at risk of poverty
- Middle-aged unemployed (45 – 64 years)

Subsidy
Businesses that hire unemployed persons aged 30+ into new job positions will receive a subsidy of €704 net per month for 6 months.
The subsidy fully covers social insurance, medical and pharmaceutical care, and occupational risk contributions to e-EFKA.
