ESPA program for digital upgrade of accountants-tax experts

The digital upgrade program for accountants - tax experts is part of and financed by the program Competitiveness - Entrepreneurship - Innovation (EPANEK) of the ESPA 2014-20, as announced by the Minister of Development & Investment, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis in a meeting with the President of the Economic Chamber of Greece (OEE), Mr. Konstantinos Kollias.

After the meeting, the Minister pointed out: "Accountants during the crisis of the pandemic were one of the most important partners of the state and helped to speed up the procedures and transparently enable companies to access the necessary financial resources for their survival.

Now they have to be another important project, called "MyData", which will speed up the whole process of tax compliance in Greece.

In this context, I am proud that the services of EPANEK and the Ministry of Development and Investment have managed to ensure, with transparency and fast procedures, this program, which will empower accountants to achieve their immediate digital upgrade and be ready to offer quality services to the citizens ".

For his part, the president of OEE, K. Kollias, stated:

"At the Economic Chamber of Greece, the constant support of tax accountants is more than self-evident. Especially at this time, when we all know how much weight the industry has lifted to implement pandemic support measures, along with current obligations and new ones, such as the MyData application.

I owe a big thank you to the Minister of Development, Adonis Georgiadis and to the services of the Special Secretariat for the Management of ESPA Programs, for our cooperation, in order to implement an important program for our colleagues. We will continue faithfully in this direction, always on the side of economists and tax accountants".
